How perfect is Giovanna Battaglia in this look at NYFW?? When in doubt, black it out and top it off with some leopard to call it a day. Bada-bing, bada-boom!

Remember when Victoria Beckham’s collection was in it’s nascent stages and only had body clinging options to offer? Victoria Beckham and her collection are growing up together, and this anthology is the primetime. This concoction is innovative enough to make Phoebe Philo inspired, and that’s saying a lot. Posh’s fashion career may very well prove to be more promising than many gave it credit for.

Finally! I prayed for some color, and Diane was the only one who heard me (I love how I call her by her first name as if we’re childhood buddies…though in my mind we are)! Do you do that too? DVF is always without fail intuitive to what the real modern woman of today wants. Flawless. The animal print coat and oversized leaf print has my name written all over it. Happy Valentines Day!

The Man Repeller is like the holy grail of fashion blogs. What started out as a modest personal style blog of Leandra Medine’s daily outfit posts shot at her parents’ NYC balcony rapidly manifested into a lucrative blogging empire, inspiring countless other little fashion blogettes (including yours truly) all over the world to launch their own blogs. This woman can do no wrong as far as I’m concerned. And for all of you out there (though your band would be a small one), who don’t get the Man Repeller’s antics and/or style choices, I’d like to take this opportunity to articulate to you very profoundly that….all y’all are a bunch of haters. Not only does this woman have more style in her pinky finger than most runway models have in their entire 85 pound frames, but she is also probably the only fashion blogger I know of (Emily Weiss, you’re cool too) who consistently employs the proper usage of grammar and sentence structures! That my friends, coming from a person who considers a grammatical mishap to be more offensive than swearing in front of the elderly, is quite refreshing. And unless you live under a rock on a secluded island, you’ve read at least one Man Repeller post and have appropriately concluded that the woman is funny as shit. But, my digression has diverted me from my original purpose.
Medine has capitalized on the very crucial fact that we women, let me rephrase that, we women with fabulous style don’t give a rat’s ass what our male counterparts think of our style choices. Â At the risk of sounding like a feminist mouthpiece — oh what the hell, The Man Repeller inspires me to emancipate my inner feminist — we women with true style understand that sartorialism has nothing to do with the fabric one wears on one’s skin, and everything to do with the audacity fashion lends to exploration. Â Indeed, Medine’s style is eccentric and explorative, and she always carries herself with an air of nonchalance, almost as if to tell us, “no one was harmed in the making of this outfit so everybody chill the fuck out”. Â Never taking herself or fashion too seriously, she permits herself to push the boundaries and have so much fun with her style that it’s fun for us just to play witness. Â And can I just leave you with this food for thought: the birth of the blogger celebrity begins and ends with Medine. Â Who do you think I’m dying to spot every time I’m in NYC? Donald Trump? Pshhh, yeah right, it’s all about the Man Repeller.
Because enough good things cannot be said about Leandra Medine, she is perennially impeccable, but particularly so as this month’s Impeccable Girl of the Month. Now let’s go get some man repelling done today!

Joseph Altuzarra keeps it tough and edgy with the use of sharp cuts, interesting layers, and lots of leather.

Style is in the streets! Despite a blizzard of historic proportions, the fashion shows must go on. And indeed they did go on, while the streets were rife with inspirational looks even in the painfully cold temps. Witnessing the fashion that goes on outside the fashion shows is just as much fun and interesting to see than what happens on the catwalk.
