Jean Paul Gaultier is a glorious god in my book. Don’t even think about criticizing him in my presence for you will forever be written off as a sartorial neophyte who doesn’t know the first thing about fashion. Or art for that matter. Fall Haute Couture was archetypal Gaultier, with a presentation as boisterous as the clothes and a storyline packed with all the drama that has become ubiquitous in a Gaultier show. Fashion theatre at its very best.
