Dear Taylor, stop it. Just stop. Taylor Tomasi Hill has been a regular fixture in the fashion trenches, a streetstyle photographer favorite, and the ultimate object of all girl crushes for quite some time. As Style and Accessories Director for Marie Claire where she held her post until a few weeks ago, the red haired style icon became a bona fide fashion figure for her minimalistic, yet eccentric personal style philosophy (which was made accessible to all when confronted by Tommy Ton’s lens). Now, as Artistic Director of fashion mega site Moda Operandi, TTH will dictate the editorial components of the site by bringing designer collections straight off the runway to the clicking hands of the sartorially hungry. All of this means that TTH’s influence over the fashion landscape will continue to grow and her commission as an inspiration will only perdure to multiply. I for one am alright with that.
